ie7 hover

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if some one can shed some light on some confusion that I have.

I have been playing around with the following

(I realize its rough and there are probably better ways of doing this)

I starting playing around with putting a full size image in span tags then hiding it with positioning and using the hover effect on each li item to bring it back. Sadly the photo hover effect wont work in IE7, only in firefox.

I was of the understanding that hover worked on all elements in IE7 now, am I perhaps doing something wrong with my css.

I remember seeing this one on Dynamic Drive, go and take a look there.

Same principle, same effect :)
