Floats not working in Internet Explorer

Hi,
I'm a beginner and am having a problem with a site. It looks fine in Safari, but in Internet Explorer, the float is not working. The element that's supposed to appear to the right is showing up under the element with the left float.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

try adjusting the margin or the padding of that div, your float works but it differes on how you declare it. sometimes if you don't declare it's margin or padding they have some kind of default margin/padding and with my experience i don't think it is really 0, so better check that part out. :)

And don't forget to test it in Firefox too! Floats are tough for beginners so you might want to try using relative or absolute positioning instead.
