Hi there,

I've been working on my new company logo.
Comments on the shapes, typography, colors. Whatever you can think of! ;)

Looks good, but appears you're doing it in photoshop? If it's a company logo it'd be best to do it in illustrator, vector is better for anything like this.

Made it in Fireworks first to play a little with it, then imported the paths into illustrator. :)

But the one you see here is still from Fireworks.

Looks great!
I think the fonts could be a little more interesting rather than so plain? maybe try some of these out (http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/11/08/40-excellent-freefonts-for-professional-design/)?

Just a suggestion, I really like it though.

Actually i did. The font i was using was Futura. It's on the list too.

Excellent list BTW. Thanks, will surely use on or more fonts from it for future designs.

Hi I like the overall concept of the logo. The colours you have chosen work well. However have you thought about what your logo would look like black and white or through a fax machine etc. You would lose the finer detail like the shading on the curve of the n. Just to let you know if you hadn't thought of this.

Also I'm a big fan of Futura. Good choice. It works well in my opinion. :)

Fax machines died last decade :D

A print, or new media company should always have access to colour printers etc to represent their brand effectively and how they intended.

Its a great modern logo I would suggest adding a small, subtle gradient to the icon tho.
