Recently at work my coworker has let me know of a great tool for testing websites in all version of Internet Explorer. I thought that I would share this resource here.

Download multiple IE here: http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE

This software allows you to install and run Internet Explorer 3.0 and above at the same time; however, does cause some issues if you have dreamweaver installed. (It will remove any remembered passwords on any sites you have set up)

Other than that, this proves to be a very useful tool for any web developer.

Also, if you didn't know, Apple has released Safari for windows. That covers most of the browsers that people use, so hopefully I have helped someone out :P

Happy testing!

Yeah, that's true. Why are you running Vista though? do you like it?

It came with the PC I bought last year, so I'm stuck with it.

So far it's been good. But still I'm planning to get Leopard but it won't happen anytime soon...

Old thread, but oh well. That's insanely useful. I've just been using vmware with a fresh install of windows on it to test IE6. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi guys,

Try to use better tool from Debugbar for all IE

- Debugbar (http://www.debugbar.com/): DOM/HTTP/JS inspector and more.
- IETester (http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage): Browser Compatibility Check for Internet Explorer Versions from 5.5 to 8
- CompanionJS (http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/CompanionJS/HomePage): Javascript debugger for IE

They are all FREE.

First, I think you didn't read any information from its site (Debugbar and its products). Second, newest versions are compatible with Windows 7. Finally, I'm using it all my licensed Windows 7, too.

Hope it helps you somehow.

IeTester is cool tool all browser find at same place.

My experience with IEtester is that it gives inconsistent and inaccurate results.
A site will look completely different in IETester - IE6, than in MultipleIE - IE6. MultipleIE has proven to be more reliable.
