View Full Version : First XHTML & CSS Layout - Someone Want to Check it Over for Me?

So I did one of my first valid XHTML & CSS layouts today, and wanna make sure I did everything the 'best' or 'logical' way. Realize that it's a landing page so it's made of images... :)

VisorDown Landing Page (http://www.rosem.com/work/visorDown/code/)

I did manage to get it validated:
XHTML 1.0 Transitional (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rosem.com%2Fwork%2FvisorDown% 2Fcode%2F)
CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rosem.com%2Fwork%2FvisorDown% 2Fcode%2F)

If someone would be so kind to go through my code and made sure I did everything correctly, and maybe offer some suggestions for things to improve on or do differently - that would be awesome!

Thanks everyone!
Mike

looks great, but if i disable css or images there is no actual content? so if people using screen readers would get nothing at all, maybe some alt tags if that

Whoa, that's your first tableless layout with graphic! My first xhtml/css coded didn't include full graphics. Lucky you :)

Very impressive, I hope to learn how to do what you have already accomplished.
Very "British" site :)
