Hey all,
I've been working on a new website for the company I work at. I've focused a lot of time on validated markup, minimizing/focusing core content, few distractions, SEO, etc. It's not done, but it's coming along.

As for the design, the core of the company is IT Consulting, Web Design/Development, and Hosting, so these are larger in the main nav.

The homepage needs to be a sort of cornucopia b/c clients come to the site daily to utilize the remote support feature (this green box shows at the top right only shows when a tech is online)

I'm so involved in the site's workflow that it's hard to stand back and see it as a user would. Any criticism would be appreciated.

Adding a gradient background and then an off-white color to the body of the content would make that page "pop". It's pretty white at the moment. Other than that - your clean layout is appealing.

Good layout and design. Here are some tips, it won't hurt if they stay, just my opinion. :)

Both green boxes look out of place (top and bottom) The top one would be good if you were to make it not so boxy.

The bottom, try dropping it below, or next to BBB.

The right menu: Change the colors of the separators. The dark isn't seen when not hovered, so it looks like a space rather then a separator. The light color, since it is the same as the hovered background, "disappears" when hovered, thus adding to the apparent space from the dark one.

Remove the Chrome part of your web design so then it's just the webpage.

Add a "Home" Button, not everybody is smart enough to click the logo.

The FAQ page expansion is choppy on my computer (Faster computer won't have that problem) I'd suggest just a quick appear and disappear.

Contact page: You dropdown looks odd due to the size of the drop arrow compared to the box. Perhaps you could drop the padding on that one?

Is the security code necessary? If not, I'd remove it.

"Find Us on a Map": Make a way for users to get to Google from the map, that way they can easily get directions and things from a familiar interface.

On the newsletter thing: There is a small box below, I don't think it's supposed to be there. Also the Join button needs to be a bit wider.

Contact Us > Find us on a map at the top, the alt text is "Find Us on a Map &raque;"

And last of all, I'd make the favicon background transparent.

That's what I got from randomly checking out pages. All suggestions, not errors. (I think) :)

Some very good recommendations, meesa. Thanks for the in-depth analysis.

Pretty good job really.

The background. What sticks out for me is that it kind of takes the nice modern design you have and then makes it feel more late 90s. If that makes sense.

It definitely works, don't get me wrong. I just get this feeling that if it was better, it would make the entire site *pop* that much more. ;)

I'm not seeing the fields in the login form. I have to click blindly to find them. Only other thing I really noticed.

Regarding the front-end design, I really enjoyed it. It was aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. You can't go wrong with blue and white. Your content seems well aligned to the eye and isn't overly cluttered. Image positioning is relevant to content, your Navigation is nice and crisp, and a notable attractive logo and footer. The only thing that I think could use a little thought/work is possibly the background grid gradient.

Very nice work mate.
