Why did you get rid of the New Posts link from up top?

Just bookmark the get new posts (http://www.welovecss.com/search.php?do=getnew) link. :-)

Why do you need that? Not many users click new posts/quick links. Just view in each categories see if there's any new posts with bold text.

For header design, there won't be new posts. It'll have home, profile, members, search, faq and rules.

Designgraphy: Oh, it's just the way I use most forums. I like to know what's new since I last visited up front and then open each new thread/thread with new post(s) that interests me sequentially. Unfortunately, just about all the items on this forum interested me right after I registered which you might've been able to tell by my numerous replies. ;-)

footer sounds good... as long as it's somewhere. Like stealthyninja said it just makes it easier to see what has been updated since your last visit

Another idea might be to put it below "View PM Inbox" within the "Member Login" panel. Otherwise, placing it in the footer should be fine.
