They're not going unnoticed or unappreciated. Here's a quick run-down of what I've seen that's changed (add any others you might've noticed):
A "View New Posts" link within the "Member Login" container in the right sidebar
Updates to the FAQ (http://www.welovecss.com/faq.php)
A Rules (http://www.welovecss.com/rules.php) section was added
Google AdSense ads blended in with the site's design above the footer
Various visual updates to the footer
Forum restructuring (some fell away, others were added and some others were merged)
