Re: Help editing website homepage

Use the my_account ID in your CSS (#my_account) in order to change the font size. Note that this will also change the size of the other two elements below it until they're moved.

For moving the...

Re: CSS positional issue

I don't see anything cropped when I make my window smaller.

Try clearing your cache
If that doesn't work, post a screenshot showing the right way, and another showing what you are seeing, please.

Re: CSS Screen Resolution Help

No adjustments will either have to be made, or you will have to live with all the space on the edges.

There is the option that if you don't want to have that much when it's small, you could make...

Re: CSS Screen Resolution Help

Just like the rest of the page, you'll need to adjust certain styles as the page decreases in size. Right now the padding on the green header is remaining the same, regardless of the width of the...

Check out this tutorial on how to upload the file:

Re: Need some basic help here with CSS

Appreciate it, but I don't like coffee.

If you look at your example site, it also has a horizontal scroll. I added one element to your page to get rid of it. See if you can figure out what I did....

Re: Need some basic help here with CSS

Incorrect. Your issue is with .mini-post. There is a very keen difference between your site, and the site you're using as an example. Notable, on the width.

Have you used developer mode to see how your site differs from the one you give as an example?

Re: Need some basic help here with CSS

Define what you mean by 100% width. Width 100% set as the width of that DIV, your width is 100%.

Re: Need some basic help here with CSS

What do you mean by not filled to 100%? You have a 2em right margin on all of your .mini-post classes. If you want that whitespace gone, you will need to rethink how you want the margins to work.

I don't get a horizontal scrollbar when I change that width to just be 100%. http://codepen.io/anon/pen/vLgjvO

Re: Need some basic help here with CSS

Your class .mini-posts has a width which is width:calc(100% + 2em). You're explicitly telling it to have a width which is greater than 100%. You will need to fix that to get rid of the horizontal...

Re: Please solve my website HTML and CSS issues?

"Fix me" isn't a question.

- State your problem
- Show what you've tried
- Ask your question for where you need help

If you want to send a message that just say "fix it" then you'll need to...

Re: table troubles / CSS

Sorry for the delayed response. What you have is how Excel displays numbers, and I don't think you'll find a better way to display them. The only thing that would help is alternating row colors,...

Re: Change vertical list to Horizontal

Put a left border on all elements but the first one. Place the border on all the children, and then use the first-child pseudo element to remove it from the first one.

Re: Help with CSS code

You seem to know what you're doing fairly well. Have you used a debugger to look at your website? Just press F12 or [Ctrl] + [Shift] + I to get to it.

Re: Cannot get to center the text/display!

Most likely, the element that has the text in it. If that doesn't work, try the parent. Repeat. Note that if you've forced something to be a block, you may need to remove that.

Re: Alignment issue (upon switching resolutions)

For the logo, put it in a DIV outside of any others that would constrict its width. Then just give it some side margins of the width you want.

For the text and box, put them both into a DIV, with...
