I'm just worried about IE as it doesn't always support !important.

The only way I can think of...

Re: CSS website layout issues between firefox and IE ? HELP!?

Yeah. I always try and avoid borders because that extra 2 pixels may force the design to brake BUT the red background is my fav lol.

Firefox is much better at showing you what is actually wrong...

Re: Hand Coding CSS - Hours

The use of hacks with semantic markup is rare but sometimes I find it un-avoidable. IE is well-known for messing more things up more than any other browser. Coding for IE would mean messing things...

Re: Rounded corners

I only glanced at the file but a span is an inline element so you would need something in it or to specifically set width and height or it won't take up any space.

Re: How did you started...

My path was a bit odd (and still is). I am 17 atm but when I was 7 I wanted to do game development. I loved games but it was far too early and of course I couldn't manage.

This dream however lead...

Re: Nightmare web design clients

Sometimes the best thing to do is to talk to a client about what makes a design successful. When even that fails to teach them that you know best then you have to resign to the fact that this design...

Re: Portfolio

I quite like it. Because of the small amount of projects listed on it (not a complaint mine is worse) I would suggest maybe trying to fill more whitespace. As it is at the moment it looks rather...

Re: CSS website layout issues between firefox and IE ? HELP!?

If your debugging your css try and comment out certain things and see what difference it makes in BOTH browsers. It may help you see what line(s) is causing the headaches.

Hope that helps.

Re: jubstuff.netsons.org, any suggestion?

I think that dropcaps your using are too dark when up against the black background. Try using the blue taken from the border of the title. It should still fit with the colour scheme.

I like the...

Re: how to learn wordpress theme design v css?

If you don't want to worry about the (x)html for the theme I would suggest trying the Wordpress Sandbox (http://www.plaintxt.org/themes/sandbox/). It's valid, accessibly and semantic. It's a great...
