Unfortunately I admit defeat, I can't manage it with tables.

See code below (not fully tested, only in chrome) but it is somewhere to start.

I will have proper look this evening after work. Without reading your code make sure you are linking to bootstrap correctly and try and use the most up to date version.

I understand now. One solution would be to again wrap the contents in a div and give it a fixed position. How well it will work within the cell of a table I am not sure but I would say it would be...

Hi we wont go into the whole tables for layout thing. If I understand correctly you want to force the use of the scrollbar if the content is too big for the space. Currently your table will expand...

At first look it really is not a paragraph more a continues line of characters. Put a space in between some of the characters and it should work ok.
