Default How to create 2 backgrounds?

What i mean is 1 background is the graphical image, the other 1 overlapping is a shadowish transparent background.

Then on top of this 2 layers, we have our main box, which is what we want to display.

For example :-

a rounded edge square box in the limelight ( the background besides the box is transparently covered )

Can you post a JPG of what you're looking for?

Not too sure I understand.
