Alright,
I've been doing the auto-didactic thing for about six months with the primary languages of web development and I've come across the weirdest failure point ever and it's driving me mad!! ![]() I'm trying to simply write the XHTML for a page that displays, from my hard drive a picture...and ....I ..... can't do it! ![]() Here is a copy of the code: <html> <body> <img src="a web image/april hotel snatch/shut up doll.jpg" alt="shut up" width="1152" height="768" /> </body> </html> If someone can explain why I get a broken link sign , in the boxed area of my browser, perhaps I can begin my journey back to sanity and self-confidence. Oh , I've tried to view this through mozilla firefox and ie 8 , neither one produces the graphic so I guess it's not much the browser than my coding , or perhaps an improper relative reference? Oh the questions that keep us up at three am.... take care and thank you for your input in advance, April |
