BTW Inquiry refers to an investigation NOT a request for information.

So how do we know which menus are being truncated and when does it happen?

Ok so they are doing what they are meant to do and 'wrapping' the text onto a new horizontal row if there is not enough space in the containers horizontal space, rather than actually truncating (shortening) the text.

Don't have a Mac to test with but you do realise that you are several versions behind by still running Firefox 3.6 and global stats on 3.6 usage are are less than 4%

Oh and your target market isn't going to be using an ancient browser on their machines.

I was hoping an upgrade would do the trick but I'm now running version 11 and still seeing this problem. Just wondering how many of my users would be using macs and firefox. Maybe its something I shouldn't worry about

You will only know that from looking at the website logs, however as a purely cosmetic issue, rather than a total disaster as it isn't particularly noticeable.

It may even be fixed reducing the left and right padding to one or two pixels, so it overrides whatever the default padding is for Firefox on Mac.

Or an alternative may be to set text-align: center; so it makes the line break less noticeable.
