Default Tables not responsive (fluid) in Firefox and Opera

Hi:

In some of my responsive websites I'll use a small table here or there to manage some images -- for instance, a row of Social Media icons. In Safari, Chrome and IE, the tables will narrow and the images in their cells shrink, as the browser window narrows, but in Firefox and Opera they don't. (I'm on a mac for all of these.)

Is there something I need to do with tables for FF and Opera?

Thanks!
