Default Positioning help

HELP!
I'm developing a website and have a footer div that contains a menu. The footer div is positioned so that it appears 'underneath' the div above it, with z-index and positioning in the css. However the menu that is shown in the footer now does not work when you mouse over it.

If you visit:

http://skcltd.silicondesigns.co.uk/

Scroll down to the gradient footer area.

Can anyone explain how I can fix this?

Thanks

Lee

I'm able to click on the links. Did you fix it, or what browser are you using?

Messa,
Thanks for the reply, I have tried in Forefox, Safari and Chrome on Mac OS X.

What browser are you using, and it is the very bottom footer menu you can hover and click on?

Thanks

I'm using IE. That's a bit of a reversal.

Take your footer and set the z-index to 0, then take your content and set the position to relative, and the z-index to 1.

Absolutely AWESOME thanks so much worked a treat. Never would have thought to display the content over the footer in that way.

Thanks so much.
