Default What CSS book can you recommend

Hi all,

I know quite a bunch of html and php, but the thing I still need to learn properly is css. I ran through the w3schools.com course, but I am often confronted with situation where I could use more background information.

Can anyone maybe recommend me a good book which is up to date. I am very eager to learn a lot. certainly best practises etc.
Thanks in advance!!

It hasn't got a very fancy cover at all, if you're the judge a book by it's cover type (I am) but it was the only up-to-date book on css my college had, when I was attending.

Anyways I'm kind of glad it was as it was a great book.

It's called Spring into HTML and CSS.
It's definitly worth a look.
I went from knowing barely any CSS to knowing it quite well in just over a week.
That was reading and doing what it says in the book each day after college probs spent 2 hours a day at the most.
And since this book I have never looked back and recommended it to anyone who asked me about learning.

Just be warned it doesn't teach hacks and work arounds and stuff you'll have to pick up as you go along (you'll know what I mean when I get there.)

Also I feel I should stat that I'm not in anyway an affiliate of the book, it just really helped me alot.

Here's a link for reference of what the book looks like but you could probably find it cheaper than that (not that it's not worth it).
