Default Search Form

Hi

I am looking for a search form that I can put in a website that searches for text entered by user input and display the results on a new page, the text content is not stored in a database so can't do it using PHP and MySQL so guessing needs to be done using javascript, I know it won't work if users have the javascript turned off on their browser

can it be done using PHP if the text content is not stored within a database?

You can't do what you're thinking with JS. Or, if you can, it would be so slow it would be pointless. Just use the Google search tool on your site.

Has Google indexed the site yet? If not, use their webmaster tools to ensure that happens, and then give it a day or two and see what happens.
