hmm... I've tried various methods suggested to no avail. At least now the links center beneath the quadrant, but the body is still not centering on the page.

instead of
Code:
    margin-top: 0;
    margin-bottom: 1em;
    margin-left: 100px auto;
    margin-right: 100px auto;
try
Code:
margin:0 auto;
margin-left:100px auto ????
margin left can either be 100px or auto but not both!

Because you didn't give it a width.

Argh, I thought I had it! It's all centered, but now I've lost the logo...?

Yes, but then I changed it to position:relative; and adjusted the coordinates to display properly... then it disappeared completely.

I'm sure the fix must be a simple one that I've made more complex and convoluted.

Advice is appreciated.
