Default anchor problem touch screen

hello everyone,
please help me with this:

www.tritthart.at/rebekka/conservenblues

there are internal anchor links as menu links at the beginning of page. page scrolling horizontally. works fine on desktop.
when tapping link on touchscreen device page will just stutter and not move to anchor. apart from that you will be able to slide page.

i know it's not a "responsive design" but i want it to at least work on all devices. please help!

cheers
r.

Does your device support JS?

thx meesa,
tested it on ipad2 and galaxy s2.
i don't know - do they support js?
but it should work without js anyway, as the js just makes it scroll smoother... ...at least i think so??
(if disabling js it will still work on desktop - touch screen same old problem)

Okay, it works with JS. So all it does is shake?

kind of shakes. as if it tries to move to the right side (imagination or can you actually see one of the imgs for a millisec?) than it stops just where it was.
i was wondering if the {position:fixed;} could be the problem. as it is designed for desktop the #menu (containing the navi-li) is fixed pos. for other devices the media queries change that into {position: absolute;}.
so sliding the page with the fingertip works well on touch screen, but tapping the link (navi-li) - it behaves as if it was still {position:fixed;}.
does that make sense?

So play with the mobile settings, try putting it as other options, and see if you can get it to work. I don't have a device to test it on, so all I can do is speculate.
