Default RSS feed pagination

I have a live RDF stream that I would like to transform into an index of links based on item IDs, and have each link lead to a separate page containing all the details for that ID, or add page navigation to the transformed page. I don't know whether this is possible.

We're currently using Adal Chiriliuc's RSS 1.0 XSLT style sheet.

Can transformations can handle "POST" operations (like feeding an option or parameter to a URL), or some other method for splitting data between pages? The feeds we're generating are long and convoluted, and it would be great to be able to truncate the results and give the user an option to view more detail. I could copy and paste a sample RSS XML feed, if that would be helpful (didn't want to clutter the forum if not).

Thanks!

Any new ideas on this? I've put off this project for some time and would like to pick it up, but I don't know where to start.

Thank you.

It's a shame that the only response ever received on this thread here was a spam, eight months later (well, actually a year and a half after the original post. But who's counting?).

Maybe you should consider this is primarily a CSS/(X)HTML Forum, not a XML/XSL coding forum.

Yes, but then, why would there be a primary forum called "Web Coding"? And are RSS feeds so outlandish to XHTML developers that we shouldn't ask such questions here?

Nope by all means ask, just don't get uppity when you don't get any answers.

The forum is still very "young" and hasn't as yet attracted a wide range of experience in the regular members.

The getting "uppity" came from this being a very old post, one with which I really could have used some help, then getting excited when there was finally a response after quite some time, and learning that it was just spam. So there may have been a trace of frustration, but I'm not sure if "uppity" is the right word.

Anyway, if my message bothers anyone, by all means, have it removed. I see that the spam message has been removed as well.
