Default Tricky CSS problem

Hey guys,

I have a tricky CSS problem that maybe some of you can offer some insight on.

I am working on a site for a client and she has a full screen background image that changes. This part is fine and the image resizes based on the browser window size.

I also have some navigation links at the bottom of the page. We wanted to make these links change position based on the browser window so that the user won't have to scroll down with them being too far down so we have done this.

On some of the background images these links don't show because of their coloring. The client wants to be able to edit the background images in certain areas so that the links show up on them.
The problem is, when the browser and background image resize, the links move to different parts of the background image so there is no way to know where to edit the background image to make them show up.

Is there any way to get them to consistently stay on one part of the background image even with the resizing?

Ryan

Nope!

But you did answer your own question with

In a similar vein, the CSS engine does not know which part of the background image the links are over in order to change the colour properties.

I don't think there is any way for solving this with CSS or any other methods.
