photo gallery

Hi,
can anyone help me with making a photo gallery and how to do one?
its getting on my nerves that i can figure this out alone

any help would be great!

i just need to know the basic codes for having some pictures together with buttons to view them like "next" and "previous" just something simple

That would really depend on how the gallery is being built or created.

If it was done simply in HTML then it would just be a link to the next URI in the created sequence of pages.

If the gallery is created from or by a server side script reading from directories of images or a database, it would be done by the script.

So the "basic codes" may simply be

HTML Code:

<a href="uri-to-next-page">Next Page</a>|<a href="uri-to-prev-page">Previous Page</a>

Or it might be a chunk of server side that calculates how many images are to be displayed, how many are on each page and how many pages there are.
